Jessica and David tied the knot on a gorgeous January afternoon at our perfect Summer Wedding Venue Melbourne.
These lovely high school sweethearts exchanged vows nearly ten years after meeting. The Ballara Receptions team was with them every step of the way – from planning right through till the last dance of the night.
It’s wonderful being part of such a beautiful occasion. This is especially so as we get to witness the joy of family and friends as they share in the emotion of the day.

A Talented Team of Wedding Experts
Jess looked every bit the glowing bride in her gown by Fairytales Bridal Boutique. The beading, lace detail on the train – every detail was absolutely exquisite. Her bridesmaids – and cousins – were all stunning in ivory, and the whole bridal party look was sophisticated and timeless. David and his groomsmen wore classic suits and looked incredibly handsome!
Saying “I Do” in the chapel exemplifies why Ballara Receptions is one of the best summer wedding venues in Melbourne. We know the chapel is great during winter, but it’s also ideal for helping everyone stay cooler on hot days. Plus, the Ballara chapel is phenomenal for ceremony photos.
Jessica and David chose celebrant Hester Mary Marries to officiate their marriage, resulting in a heartwarming and energetic ceremony that touched all in attendance.
The couple’s reception was an enjoyable affair, with plenty of entertainment and amazing food. The awesome photobooth was provided by Matt Jefferies Entertainment, and they chose dry ice “Dancing on a Cloud” to add an extra touch of romance to their first dance.
