We had our wedding reception at Ballara on a beautiful winter day in June this year. The gardens were just as beautiful as when we came for our food tasting in the Summer and looked so whimsical and magical in our photos! The staff at Ballara were so friendly and accommodated all our needs and any questions I had were answered very promptly and clearly. The food was also amazing, lots of relatives gave many compliments. Overall we had a fantastic experience at Ballara and highly recommend to anyone in need of a venue.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding! From the first meeting, until after our wedding, we felt so welcome and supported. Christine, Popy, and Tanya were lovely to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process, and on the day everything ran smoothly thanks to Tanya, Tearna, and the food and beverage staff.
All of our guests loved the venue, and could not stop commenting on how professional everything was, and how amazing the food was!

I truly cannot think of a better venue. They offer great options for both the ceremony and reception and their packages are extremely generous. The team is unbeatable, they are reliable and genuinely passionate about what they do. I had Popy and Tanya helping me throughout most of my wedding meetings and enquiries, and they were amazing. I cannot thank them enough for the dedication they show in their work; it really shines through.
I was given Aleisha as my coordinator for the wedding day, and she was an absolute gem. I was so blessed to have her and concierge Hannah by our side. They made sure everything ran smoothly, were so professional and understanding, and handled the day with such care. Aleisha even allowed my husband and I to dance a little overtime because of all our reception surprises and photos, she truly made me so happy.

We had our wedding at Ballara on the 7 December and it was the most perfect wedding. Ballara made the whole wedding planning so easy and simple. From the initial stages of signing the contract all the way through to the day of the wedding. Never any issues contacting them and they were always more than happy to answer my never ending questions.
They go over and beyond for you and are so accommodating.
The whole team are incredible. Our guests raved on to us about how amazing the venue itself was as well as how incredible the food was. Special mention to our wedding coordinator Popy and Tiarna who were incredible on the day of the wedding. Popy ensured our wedding day ran smoothly and attended to all our guests. Ballara itself was beautiful. We loved the garden and the ballroom but our coordinator was not accommodating at all. First she made a big deal about us having a DJ and a band. Then we were told we could not display pictures on a projector because they didn't have one. So we specifically bought one, and on the day was told we couldn't use it anyway because there's no space. Then we were not allowed to so entrees during speeches or play the DJ/band while dinner. This pushed us so behind that we only got 1 hour of dancing. Even wasnt allowed to throw my bouqet unless i faced a certain way and as soon as 11PM hit, the lights were turned on. We couldnt even get an extra minute to walk out, even though it was obvious we were farewelling the people on our way out. Would not recommend the venue unless you want to be told what your wedding should and shouldn't look like, with no personal touches.

The team at Ballara were amazing leading up to my wedding day and the entire day. They were so accomodating, communication was excellent and made the wedding planning experience much easier, and everything was coordinated and organised perfectly!
The food was amazing, my guests are still talking about the food and the amazing garden and how beautiful the venue is.

Where do we start. Ballara is a truly beautiful place to choose as a wedding venue. We had Loretta run our day and she did an amazing job, along with all the staff. The endless backdrop for our photos were phenomenal, the food was divine and everything run like clock work with no stress. We couldn't have asked for a better day!

The venue is gorgeous. It provided us with plenty photo opportunities and it looks absolutely amazing on photos. It's located in a really convenient place too, making it easier for our family and friends to travel. We had our lovely wedding here and we love the support provided by the staff. Special thanks to our function manager Jane. She's really nice, kind, professional and makes things run smoothly. The food is also delicious. All our guests love the food, especially the children who came along with their parents. They really enjoyed their time here. We'd definitely recommend this place to our friends.
