“Something old, something borrowed, something new and something blue”. Everyone knows the saying, but often brides don’t know how to incorporate their something blue. Here are some ideas to spark your imagination!
Your garter: Of course it is your decision as to whether you wish to wear a garter or not. But wearing a blue garter can be a simple way to have something blue.
A piece of jewellery: whether it is a hair clip, a bracelet, earrings or necklaces, this is a gorgeous way to show off your ‘something blue’. Sometimes the piece can also be an heirloom
The colour of your shoes or add “I Do” to your shoes. This makes for some very cute photos and is a subtle way to have something blue added in.
Your bouquet. Add some blue flowers to your bouquet. Remember that it doesn’t have to be a bright cobalt blue – it can be delicate and subtle. Or if blue is your favourite colour, why not go all out! Especially if you wedding colour scheme is blue!
The dress: It can be a subtle addition of a blue ribbon or even less – with some blue stitching in your lining or maybe you don’t want to wear white at all.
