When Jay and Adam booked their reception after touring the venue, the Ballara team had an inkling that this might turn out to be one Fun Wedding Reception!
It seemed that inkling wasn’t wrong! While Jay and Adam exchanged vows at the Royal Exhibition Building at Carlton Gardens, they then moved to the Yarra Valley for a joy-filled and fun wedding reception that won’t be forgotten by anyone.

Jay looked like a dream bride, and Adam was enamoured by his new wife all through their fun wedding reception. Her styling team included the talents of Hair by Neveen and Liv Beauty.
The divine wedding gown and gorgeous bridesmaids’ dresses were complemented with bouquets by Wildflower + Twig. This amazing business also created the stunning floral arrangements throughout Ballara’s reception ballroom. Adding extra style, Weddings of Distinction, were responsible for the brilliant wedding styling and hire, as well as planning.
Adam and Jay were transported to, from, and between their ceremony and reception by the award-winning Enrik Limousines. Enrik’s Chrysler limos fit perfectly with the elegant theme of the day.
The newlyweds’ reception was not only fun (the panties photo below says it all!), but it was also culturally diverse. As a bonus, the Hung Hing Lion Dance Association made an appearance, entertaining the guests with dragons and dancing. It was a high-energy, lovely nod to Jay’s Chinese heritage, as well as a wonderful experience for all in attendance.
So, with all the colour, music, dancing, and laughter you could ever want from a wedding, Jay and Adam said “I Do” in style and they are now looking forward to spending a wonderful life together. The Ballara team wishes them all the best for the years ahead.
