Here’s a throwback to one of the last pre-COVID weddings at Ballara Receptions, with Alice and Joseph tying the knot on their Dreamy Wedding Day.
When this gorgeous couple met in 2013 in a youth group, they had no idea that their lives had just taken such a wonderful course. In fact, they didn’t actually talk to each other for two years. This step quickly turned into a first date, though, on 16th February 2015.
Fast forward five years to the day, and Alice walked down the aisle to say “I Do” to Joseph. Their dreamy first date turned into a dreamy wedding day that they will remember for life.

Joseph’s proposal in 2017 was also as if from a dream. Involving a surprise picnic, a rose, and proposal on one knee, it goes without saying that the romance game between the two of them is strong!
In February 2020, Alice and Joseph said their vows at Ballara Receptions, surrounded by loved ones and ready to celebrate the next phase in their lives.
Alice looked absolutely stunning in her Raffaele Ciuca Bridal gown, and Danielle Hendricks Hair and Makeup adding the final touches to her look. Lilypad Flowers & Events provided the exquisite floral offerings, from the bride’s bouquet to wedding arrangements.

Arriving in elegant style with cars from Classic and Prestige Car Hire, the happy couple made sure every moment of their day was snapped in detail, with Perla Photography responsible for the wonderful collection of photos that they will treasure forever. Desiren Photography & Video were also there to capture it all on video.
The talented team at Le Grand Style Weddings kept the dance floor pumping throughout the high-spirited reception. Once the formalities were over, the newlyweds cut their beautiful – and delicious – wedding cake by Kat’s Cakes Melbourne, before enjoying the rest of the evening’s celebrations and heading off to their romantic honeymoon in Hawaii.
The Ballara Receptions team loved supporting Alice and Joseph on their big day and looks forward to doing the same for countless Victorian couples for many years to come.
