Ballara Wedding Receptions was the lucky wedding venue chosen for this special occasion – and the couple took full advantage of Ballara’s gardens and grounds for all of their precious wedding photos.
The Sweet Ceremony
The bride, radiant in her stunning lace gown & veil, was preceded by their flower boy Orion (stealing the show with his basket of flowers) met with her husband to be Alex for a elegant exchanging of the vows – Officiated by Kate Morgan.
The groom and wedding party are equally stylish, donning tailored suits and dresses in a rich blue hue that complement the winter theme.
The florals carried by the wedding party were their chosen arrangements of bright Australian Natives which were enhanced by Ballara’s private lush green gardens.

This striking couple took full advantage of all of the backdrops and areas Ballara has to offer – with talented Melbourne Wedding Photographer – Marcel Van der Horst, capturing an abundance of spectacular Wedding Memories for the couple to treasure forever.
The Celebration
Their guests were then invited into our transformed reception space. Tables are adorned with crisp white linens, Tiffany chairs, and centerpieces showcasing the timeless elegance of our ballroom.
A delectable winter-inspired menu awaited the guests, featuring a combination of comforting dishes and refined flavors. They savored dishes such as Sun dried Tomato Arancini Balls, Pork Belly + Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken and finished off with a dessert of Rhubarb and Strawberry Cheesecake.
After the couple’s brother and friend preformed their MC duties ( gathering laughs from the guests) Orion made another grand appearance, entertaining everyone with his killer dance moves on the ballroom floor.
Throughout the evening, their guests are entertained with music from the Melbourne Entertainment Company, creating a melodic backdrop to the joyful atmosphere.
As the night unfolds, the newlyweds take to the dance floor for their very first dance as man and wife.
Guests join in, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Exquisite Suppliers
Every one was wowed by the stunning creation that was their wedding cake – a Croquembouche Cake created by the award winning Nikos Cakes.
The gorgeous wedding flowers were created by Leah Rose Floral Events – adding a vibrant burst of color and fragrance.
The bride’s exquisite wedding gown was a creation of famous wedding dress designer Jannifer Wu Couture whislt the Groom and groomsmen owed their style to Institchu.
We can’t recommend Ballara highly enough! The venue is absolutely beautiful, there are so many great places to take wedding photos including the lovely gardens and lake.
